FAQ

  1. What happens if something comes up and I have to cancel? Will I get a refund on my deposit? I know things come up unexpectedly such as sickness, etc. However deposits are used to secure appointments and when cancelations occur, I have already put in a lot of time to prepare for our time together before it even begins. This is to help compensate me for both my time and in some instances other revenue, since there would be other people that I turned away on that date as it had previously been reserved. I understand that events outside either of our control do occur, which is why I am happy to help you sell your time slot, or you can use it as credit towards another session (within 6 months)!
  2. What is the tax amount added to the session fee? There is a 7.45% Salt Lake County, UT Sales Tax which will be added to the final sale.
  3. When do I need to pay the rest of my session fee + tax? I will send a separate invoice along with the Main Contract (2 of 2) within a couple of days of the session. This is due prior to starting the session. If you have not received both 24 hours prior to the start of the session, you are to reach out to me.
  4. Why is it only up to 5 people? Because our time together is very short. Creating the best experience I can with more than 5 people in attendance per slot is not ideal and therefore not provided during mini sessions.
  5. Does Finland's allow dogs? Yes they do, this is what they say about hosting dogs: "We love when guests bring well-behaved dogs. They are welcome on leash at all times, provided they are cleaned up after and not aggressive toward our animals or other guests. Dogs are not permitted inside The Shoppe at any time."
  6. What happens if the weather is not ideal? Kinland's requires photographers to a book a specified date and time slot and they do not allow for rescheduling which means I will plan on doing these even if the weather is not ideal. However should the need arise to cancel due to really bad weather, you may have the option to apply your deposit towards my spring mini's or a regular session (within 6 months).
